The Story
Rebecca Carter Burke & Blame The Whiskey is an Alt-Country band from New England. The group was founded in April 2017 by Rebecca Carter Burke and David Alex-Barton. David was the lead singer and guitarist in the popular Boston 80’s punk rock band The Outlets. Rebecca is an independent artist and former cast member in the musical “Texas”. They were initially looking to create an acoustic country duo but as their plans took off, so did the band. The duo grew to a full 4 to 7 piece Alt-Country Band. However, Rebecca continues to offer an Acoustic Duo or Trio for smaller settings.
Current core band members include:
Lead Singer, Rebecca Carter Burke
